Thuja For Treatment of Vaginal Disorders
For many women these disorders are tortuously recurrent throughout and beyond the childbearing years; presenting symptoms including discharges and relentless burning, itching and painful intercourse. In some cases, long term and unresolved recurrences create susceptibility to other diseases. This article addresses three common vaginal disorders: vaginal yeast infection (vaginal candidiasis), bacterial vaginosis, HPV and the effectiveness of MPI’s Thuja No. 22 for natural, safe reversal and prevention.
MPI’s Thuja No. 22 formula was developed in the 1980s from pure, high quality plant extracts; containing safe, potent, anti-viral, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. The past thirty years of empirical study have proven this formula’s safety and effectiveness in treatment of a wide range of indications with remarkable results. It is highly recommended by countless female patients who have chosen it as an alternative to messy vaginal creams and ointments, the frequently difficult and uncomfortable methods of application and treatment procedures.
Vaginal Yeast Infection (vaginal candidiasis, yeast vaginitis):
Candida albicans is the fungus responsible for vaginal yeast infection, which is the most common form of vaginitis. Normally, this is treated with a variety of topically applied antifungal creams that are both messy and problematic. One of the most serious problems is OTC availability of these treatments; giving rise to self-diagnosis of vaginal yeast infection and leading to inappropriately repeated use of these creams and ointments. This is particularly serious if or when the symptoms are related to some other vaginal disorder. In addition, repeated use may be the root cause of the estimated 25-30% of vaginal yeast infections that are currently resistant to OTC treatments; requiring more potent drugs.
A safe alternative to this potentially, never-ending cycle of self-diagnosis, ineffective OTC treatment, recurring infection, etc. is MPI’s Thuja No. 22. It is a fast-acting remedy that immediately begins to help normalize natural vaginal flora. This reduces susceptibility to other disease pathogens and recurring infections.
Vaginal Treatment for Yeast Infection with Thuja No. 22 using a tampon:
This treatment can be used day or night without discomfort. The ease of application ensures patient compliance and administers the herbal extraction exactly where it is needed.
Apply 40 to 60 drops of MPI’s Thuja No. 22 Herbal Liquid Extract to the tip of a tampon. Insert as close to the cervix as possible. No pads or panty liners are necessary. Remove the tampon upon rising if used at bedtime or before sleep if applied in the morning. Use each day or night for one week until improvement is felt; then use every other day or night for two weeks. This may be continued once or twice per week as preventive therapy.
For women who cannot use tampons, 1 tsp. of MPI’s Thuja No. 22 mixed with ½ cup of pure lukewarm water and used as a retention douche is recommended.
Vaginal Treatment with Thuja No. 22 for Bacterial Vaginosis:
Bacterial vaginosis results from pH imbalance; where the normal acidic vaginal environment has been compromised, thereby promoting overgrowth of harmful bacteria. The formulation of MPI’s Thuja No. 22 provides broad spectrum efficacy because in addition to the anti-fungal constituents, it contains powerful anti-bacterial plant properties from Thuja occidentalis, Hydrastis canadensis (Goldenseal), and Calendula officinalis. Together, these constituents yield excellent results with reversal of this condition. Treatment recommendations are the same as indicated previously for Vaginal Yeast Infections
Vaginal Treatment with Thuja No. 22 for Genital HPV Infection:
The CDC reports Genital HPV as the most common sexually transmitted disease. Accordingly, they report that 20 million Americans are infected with the virus while an additional 6 million are infected each year. It is estimated that at least 50% of sexually active men and women will become infected at some point in their lives. Recent alarming reports of adverse events from use of the current pharmaceutical approach (Gardasil Vaccine), makes MPI’s Thuja No. 22 a very promising alternative treatment.
MPI’s Thuja No. 22 formula contains two of the most powerful antiviral plant medicines available, which have also been proven effective in combating all warts including those resulting from HPV: Thuja occidentalis and Melaleuca alternifolia. Vaginal treatment recommendations are the same as indicated previously for vaginal yeast infections and bacterial vaginosis.
Adjunctive Therapies:
To optimize the treatment, MPI’s BA-CO-FLOR (Extra Strength) should be taken orally: one to two capsules three times daily. This probiotic (contents of 2-3 capsules) can be also added to the Thuja No. 22 douche.
Dietary modifications such as elimination of sweets, alcohol, white flour products, etc., are strongly recommended during treatment to support healing of yeast overgrowth and other conditions.
Additional Benefits of Thuja No. 22:
Helps prevent severe menstrual cramps when used as previously directed one day before period begins.
For women who experience painful menstruation or suffer from dysmenorrhea, see information on MPI’s Remedy - Pro Mense. This formula normalizes the menstrual cycle.
Physician’s Note:
Thuja No. 22 is not recommended during menstruation. In its concentration and when used as directed it is safe and effective.
